Goalkeeper
Jordan Pickford - 5.0: A really tough start for the England number one. From our perspective, giving away a penalty and getting booked inside two minutes set a terrible tone. He made a couple of decent saves in the box later on, but that early mistake was so costly. He looked a bit flustered, and it's not the composure we expect from him. A day he'll want to forget quickly.
Defenders
James Tarkowski - 6.5: A classic Tarkowski performance in many ways. He led the line with a staggering 11 clearances, just throwing his body at everything. However, being the captain of a defence that conceded two goals, including one from a simple breakdown, has to be noted. He was a warrior, but the backline he leads was breached too easily.
Jake O'Brien - 6.0: A bit of a mixed bag from O'Brien. He made some important clearances and was a presence in the air, winning three aerial duels. What stood out to us, though, was him losing four of his eight total duels. He looked a little shaky at times against Brentford's attack and lost possession ten times. Room for improvement.
Vitaliy Mykolenko - 6.5: We thought Mykolenko had a very active game. He won a remarkable seven of his eight duels, showing great fight and determination down the left flank. He also chipped in with eight clearances. The downside was losing the ball 16 times, which put his team under needless pressure. A decent, if slightly chaotic, outing.
Jarrad Branthwaite - 7.0: Branthwaite looked like the most composed member of the Everton backline. He was calm in possession, with 88% pass accuracy, and made eight crucial clearances. He won most of his aerial battles and generally read the game well. A mature performance that stood out amid some defensive panic around him.
Midfielders
Dwight McNeil - 6.0: It just wasn't McNeil's day. He tried to make things happen, but all three of his shots were blocked, a sign of his frustration. We noticed he was often on the periphery of the game before being substituted. He worked hard but couldn't provide that spark of quality Everton needed from him.
Iliman Ndiaye - 7.0: A very bright spark in Everton's attack. Ndiaye was constantly trying to unlock the defence, evidenced by his three key passes. He looked dangerous whenever he got on the ball and kept his passing neat and tidy. We were impressed by his creativity and willingness to take risks in the final third.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall - 7.5: The late hero for Everton. Beyond his crucial equalising goal, he was an energetic presence throughout. He recovered the ball eight times and was always looking to drive the team forward. It was a performance full of running and, ultimately, a decisive moment of quality when it mattered most.
Idrissa Gueye - 6.5: A solid if unspectacular performance from Gueye before he was subbed. He provided the assist for Beto's goal with a great ball. He did his defensive duties well, breaking up play. However, losing possession 15 times is a little high for a player in his position.
James Garner - 6.5: A proper workhorse performance from Garner in the middle of the park. He was everywhere, making 7 ball recoveries and 5 clearances. He picked up a yellow card for a cynical foul, but that's part of his game. He battled hard and gave Everton a real engine room, even if his passing was a bit loose at times.
Forwards
Beto - 7.0: Led the line with real physical presence. He got his goal with a well-taken header and was a constant nuisance for the Brentford defenders. From our perspective, his hold-up play was vital for bringing others into the game. He did lose a lot of duels, but his primary job was to score and he did it.

Manager
D. Moyes - 7.0: You have to give him credit. His team went behind twice away from home and fought back to get a point. His substitutions were timely and the team showed incredible character, which is a reflection on the manager. He set his team up to be resilient and they proved to be exactly that.

Brentford Player Ratings vs Everton
Here are the Brentford player ratings vs Everton.
Goalkeeper
Caoimhín Kelleher - 7.0: It’s hard to fault Kelleher for either goal. He made four saves, including some really sharp stops inside the box to keep his team in the lead. His distribution was solid, and he commanded his area well with a couple of punches and a good high claim.
Defenders
Sepp van den Berg - 7.5: An absolute rock at the back for Brentford. We were incredibly impressed by his reading of the game, resulting in four blocked shots and seven clearances. He was composed on the ball and rarely looked flustered. An outstanding defensive display that deserved a clean sheet.
Nathan Collins - 6.5: A busy and eventful day for the captain. He made nine clearances and was a towering presence. On the other hand, he missed a big chance and lost five aerial duels, which is unusual for him. A solid but slightly frustrating performance, as he could have been a hero at both ends.
Keane Lewis-Potter - 5.0: A really poor day at the office for Lewis-Potter. His error leading to a goal was a moment of dreadful concentration and ultimately cost his team two points. While he did contribute going forward with some good crosses, that defensive lapse is what his performance will be remembered for.
Michael Kayode - 6.5: A game of two halves for Kayode. He did brilliantly to set up the second goal for Igor Thiago with a great assist. However, from our perspective, losing the ball 26 times is simply far too much. His attacking contribution was key, but his wastefulness in possession was a major issue.

Midfielders
Kevin Schade - 7.5: He was electric. He won the early penalty with his quick feet and was desperately unlucky not to score himself, hitting the woodwork. He caused the Everton defence problems all afternoon with his pace and directness.
Mathias Jensen - 8.0: What stood out to us was just how effortlessly he ran the show in midfield. He was the creative hub for Brentford, creating a big chance and delivering three key passes. His passing was crisp, and his set-piece delivery caused chaos.
Yegor Yarmolyuk - 6.5: The quiet partner in midfield, but effective nonetheless. He kept possession ticking over with 87% pass accuracy and did his defensive work diligently, recovering the ball eight times. It wasn't a flashy performance, but it was a disciplined one that provided balance to the team.
Dango Ouattara - 6.0: A frustrating player to watch. He showed flashes of brilliance, creating a big chance and looking dangerous. But he also missed a big chance himself and lost possession 17 times. There's a great player in there, but the inconsistency in his game was on full display here.
Mikkel Damsgaard - 5.5: He just couldn't get into the game. He was on the field for 45 minutes but seemed to be on a different wavelength from his teammates. Substituted at halftime, which tells its own story. A disappointing showing.
Forwards
Igor Thiago - 8.5: The undisputed man of the match. He was simply clinical. He showed nerves of steel to slot home the early penalty and then great striker's instinct for his second goal. He was a physical handful, won his duels, and was the difference-maker for his team. An exceptional performance from the frontman and our highest-rated player.
Manager
K. Andrews - 6.5: His team played some excellent football and deserved to win. Tactically, he got it right, as his side created numerous chances. However, he will be furious that they let the lead slip twice. The inability to see the game out from a winning position falls partly on the manager's shoulders.
