Team Soul dominated BGIS 2026 right from the start. The team led by Nakul, with the likes of Joker, Legit and Goblin, swept the finals with 172 points in 18 matches. This included 2 chicken dinners.

The team showed unreal gun power as they picked up 119 frags. Soul led the overall standings on 3 days of the grand finals. The team showed the classic passive aggressive playstyle to win the fifth BGIS title.

BGIS 2025 Winner: Team Versatile’s Unforgettable Triumph

Team Versatile emerged victorious at the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2025 Grand Finals in Kolkata. After earning only 37 points on Day 1, Versatile performed significantly better and accumulated a total of 169 points from 18 matches.

Saumraj is now the first-ever IGL to have two BGIS titles; his leadership and clutch calls put him and his team in a position to earn back-to-back titles.

How Team Versatile Sealed the Victory

Team Versatile's comeback was made possible by the beautiful combination of strategy and nerve. Their ability to successfully scout changing zones, utilise the utility appropriately, and perfectly time third-party fights made them in their own league. Saumraj's calm and composed leadership and the players' ability to coordinate under immense pressure delivered them clutch results when they needed it the most.

They weren't simply banking on pure firepower; their positioning and game-reading across Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok rendered them unbeatable on Days 2 and 3, and therefore, they pulled off one of the most incredible turnarounds in BGIS history.

The BGIS 2024 winner was Team XSpark. They had an exhilarating journey, marked by smart gameplay, adaptability, and consistency.

Team XSpark, made up of NinjaJOD, Spraygod, Sarang, and Shadow7, achieved a total of 142 points after 18 matches during the Grand Finals held in Hyderabad. Their win was a show of skill, but also perseverance and team effort.

BGIS 2024 was notable for the level of changes it brought to the tournament experience. The introduction of new maps created brand new dynamics that forced teams to develop new ways to play.

BGIS 2023 experienced one of the most dramatic comebacks in the history of the tournament. Gladiators Esports, after being eliminated early in the tournament, came back to win the championship. The Gladiators Esports showed tremendous heart, and their work over the tournament forced teams to reconsider their collaboration and the work that goes into playing well.

The Grand Finals, held at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Mumbai, saw Gladiators Esports accumulate a total of 200 points despite being unable to notch a single chicken dinner and was able to arrive at that score through consistency in the matches.

Gladiators Esports' success was attributed to the excellent play from players like DeltaPG, Destro, Justin, and SHOGUN. DeltaPG was particularly key, winning the MVP with ₹4 lakh.

BGIS 2021 Winner: Skylightz Gaming Takes the Crown

Skylightz Gaming was the BGIS 2021 winner. It was marked by consistent point accumulation, strategic positioning, and execution at the right time. The team's ability to gain chicken dinners and consistent high placements in matches ensured their consistent rise on the leaderboard.
