Square Enix has tweaked the usual format of the Dissidia series, as their upcoming title will let you fight monsters in a 3v3 format. You will get to play as one of the Final Fantasy characters, like Warrior of Light, Cloud, and Lightning, with an engaging storyline and boss fight concept.

DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY brings 3v3 Team Fights

The new game, Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy, brings all Final Fantasy characters to the task of saving the world from monsters. The game is set in the modern-day capital city of Japan, Tokyo. The gameplay involves two teams.

Each team has 3 players who battle against a 'Final Boss' type monster and try to defeat it. Both teams battle against the monster simultaneously, and the one to defeat it quicker wins.

You will also get to select some top-tier Final Fantasy characters to play with. Each character has a specific role: Melee, Ranged, Agile, Support, and you can train them and upgrade their abilities. The game UI gives you a chance to select the loadout ahead of the battle.

You will also get to see an intriguing storyline, fine animations, and real voice acting in Japanese via the chat messenger episodes. You will be able to interact with other in-game characters and experience their daily lives.

DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY Release Date

The new action boss battle arena game started with its pre-registrations on February 26, 2026. The players who pre-registered shall receive the exclusive pre-registration rewards on its launch.

Both iOS and Android players can still sign up for the DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY pre-registration. The pre-registration links are available on the Play Store for Android and AppStore for iOS users.
