The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the first match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 in Bengaluru. Rajat Patidar won the toss in the RCB vs SRH IPL match and decided to bat first. While the SRH openers failed to give a good start, the team ended up scoring 201 runs in the first innings, thanks to Ishan Kishan's 80 off 38 deliveries, including eight boundaries and five sixes.

While RCB is the most fan base team in IPL, they have one prominent fan who has extended their support towards the franchise, and that is RJ Mahvash. She has revealed her favourite team of the tournament for this season on social media.

RJ Mahvash, a renowned face on social media, gained quite a lot of attention during the previous season of the IPL due to her involvement with star bowler Yuzvendra Chahal, one of the best bowlers in IPL. While both of them claimed to be friends, she was seen cheering for him during the Punjab Kings (PBKS) matches.

There were constant speculations around them dating, but they never agreed to the claims. Months after the Indian Premier League, both of them unfollowed each other on social media and weren't seen together after that.

Before the match started, RJ Mahvash took to Instagram to upload a post wearing the jersey of Royal Challengers Bengaluru and a subtle caption on the photo supporting them. The fans speculated the new RJ Mahvash IPL team to be a jibe at Chahal ahead of the tournament.

Reports suggest that they are not on talking terms right now. Mahvash and Chahal were first seen together during the Champions Trophy 2025 final, where they travelled to Dubai together to watch the match after the cricketer's divorce with ex-wife Dhanashree Verma.
